The Young Rangers' Club offers a unique opportunity for older
children to get 'up close and personal' with the African wilderness,
learning its wild ways from some of the continents most respected
and qualified guides. Participants also get to take part in
vital community and conservation initiatives in some of the
world's last great wild places.
The Rangers' Club is the big brother to the Adventurers'
Club at 4 Kenyan based properties. Offering 'hands on' facilities
such as the Animal Obstacle Course, which enables kids to
mimic the movements of different species before studying the
serious science of survival behind them. The young people
also get to take advantage of specially child-modified trucks,
the Blue Gnus, which offer a safe and panoramic perspective
on interactive game drives.
For a small, additional fee, visitors at the Great Rift Valley
Lodge can opt for a variety of modern safari adventures, from
horseback rides and bicycle safari to golf lessons and tours
of the magnificent Rift's 'Great Lakes.' At Siana Springs,
travellers are treated to a very special interpretive experience
among the Masai who run Kenya's new community conservation
trust. Something for all interests awaits!
