Dive among the sharks!
The Dyer Island reserve with its large Cape Fur Seal breeding colony is a favourite haunt and feeding ground of the Great White. Boats depart from Gansbaai, a two hour drive from Cape Town. You will be transported by boat to the vicinity of the islands, where a dive master supervises as you enter a cage attached to the boat. The cage is beneath the water's surface so that you can get “up close and personal”, after the sharks have been attracted in to the area. The program includes the boat ride, all equipment, breakfast, lunch, and hopefully the chance to come face to face with the Great White!
