Climate - Uganda's climate
is tempered by cooling breezes from the mountains while the
lowland areas and lake shores enjoy a warm climate. The rains
fall mainly between March - May and October - November.
Adventure - Located astride the Equator,
Uganda stands in the heart of Africa. With spectacular natural
landscapes ranging from lakes, rivers, and low-lying highlands,
forests and mountains, Uganda is often called the "Switzerland
of Africa".
A tour to Uganda would not
be complete without a visit to Murchison Falls, the source
of the great River Nile; Queen Elizabeth National Park and
the Mountains of the Moon. But it is visiting the gorillas
at Bwindi and Mugahinga that offer the most exciting expeditions.
